Litany of fear

I must not fear.
Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear.
I will permit it to pass over me and through me.
And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
Where the fear has gone there will be nothing.
Only I will remain.

The above may be fiction, but it’s good fiction.

Frank Herbert is one of my favorite authors; the Dune series is brilliant. Here’s another quote (found at that’s applicable to web design/dev (or any endeavor, for that matter):

“A beginning is the time for taking the most delicate care that the balances are correct.”

  4. Will make this a mantra
