September 2006 Installment: Everything Is Art

Building upon last month’s “Von Neumann engine”, Everything Is Art is a partially satiric yet cuddly kind poke at the concept of “art”. It’s basically a color array, a randomization engine and some extremely simple shapes put together to create 5 art-machines.

It’s also an expression of the fact that I’ve been very busy this month, and that it’s nice to have the computer do the work for me sometimes.

Nice work! No. 3 is my favourite most times.. but I also like #5 (but only sometimes.. when it doesn’t render as a sludgy green brown colour!) 🙂

  8. It doesn’t need to be art; it’s already nice enough to look at.
